In chapter 4 of the 'force' book, the author delves into the human body - sadly not like this!
Nope, just plain old skeletons like these ones:
This chapter was all about understanding the function of the major bones and the forces at work on bones as well as muscles and ligaments.

Then this can be applied to gesture drawings, as quick as one minute poses:
EXERCISES AND TIPS:
1. Draw numerous poses using the FORCE stick figure when drawing from imagination. Keep in mind the power of curved lines; beware of the straight when drawing bones.
2. Draw and investigate the different joints in the body and where they are found. This gives you a profound understanding of motion range per joint. Keep in mind that the muscles move across the joints.
