Life Drawing: Front: Chest, Shoulders & Blades

Continuing on with the new force, this post concentrates on the Chest and Shoulder Blades.

EXERCISES AND TIPS:

 

1. Think about grouping the pecs and the deltoids in their football gear-like structure to find their FORCEFUL relationships.

 

2. Try dividing the pecs into three regions to see how they are connected to the bone frame.

 

3. Notice how the deltoids function relative to the direction that the arm is raised.

 

4. Use the clavicles, the sternum axis, and the bottom of the pecs to define the perspective of the rib cage.
